Online Registration:

Note: The Security and Exchange Commission (SECP) of Pakistan’s official website is compatible only with window’s internet explorer (not with any other web browser).

Note: The user should check the compatibility of the SECP’s web site in the internet explorer’s setting.

E-Services Tab: When the user opens SECP website, following window will be appear on the right side.

  • Sign up for national.
  • Sign up for foreign/POC (Pakistan Original Card) holder.
  • Forget login information.

 

From signing up user will generate the Password and Pin code

Information Required for Signing up for National:

  • CNIC number
  • Password (Set by the user must have capital letter small letter and special character)
  • Name and father name
  • Date of birth
  • Address (current and permanent)
  • Gender
  • Mobile number
  • Email address
  • Choose the security Questions and put answers
  • Verify the registration (code will the given below)
  • Check the declaratory box

Click the sign up button

Codes will be sent on user’s mobile number and e-mail id, which was provided at the time of signing up.

When the codes received put the codes in the fields and submits the process confirmation message will appear on the screen.

Information required for Signing Up for Foreign/POC Holder:

  • Passport number (alpha numeric)
  • Password (Set by the user must have capital letter small letter and special character)
  • Name
  • Nationality
  • Passport Expiry Date
  • Date of birth
  • Address (according to passport)
  • Mobile number along with country code
  • Email address
  • Attachment of the copy of the passport (pdf format and 1MB size)
  • Attachment of the fresh photo of the user (pdf format 1MB size)
  • Choose the security Questions and put answers
  • Verify the registration (code will the given below)
  • Check the declaratory box

Click the sign up button

Codes will the sent on the user’s mobile number and e-mail id, which was provided.

When the codes received put the codes in the fields and submit the process confirmation message will appear on the screen.

Availability of the Name:

Now sign in through user id and password click on company name reservation then a new window will appear on screen having name reservation form.

  • Enter the company’s proposed name (without kind i.e. Pvt. Ltd., SMC (Single Member Company) etc)-> the user can check the online name availability by clicking on button beneath the first bar.
  • There are three options in which user may search.
  • Exact Name
  • Beginning with
  • Including exact string
  • Fill the remaining two options of the proposed name.
  • Mention the company kind that company will be a private limited or single member company or company under section 42 etc. (the drop down will be exist on the page)
  • After filling the remaining fields
  • Select the mode of payment.
    • Through credit card.
    • Through Bank manually.

In case of manual select the bank and the branch

Now fill up the remaining form accordingly, which is very simple as we are signing up for email I’d and click the continue button (if there will be any error/mistake in form the message will appear on the screen,). The process will submit now the main window will appear then the user will click on “submitted process”, where the user attach the CNIC (pdf format) in the attachment form then get the print of the fee challan form.

Rs.200/- for online application and Rs. 500/- for offline application is required to be paid for seeking availability certificate for each name.

For prohibited names: //www.secp.gov.pk/ns/pdf/Prohibited_words.

The user will submit the prescribed fee through the selected mod of payment, and then SECP will give the name availability report (In case of any objection the user should remove the objection for further process,) if the name is available through hard copy (collected from secp’s front desk to show the original challan fee which is submitted for name availability) and e-mail.

This process will take 2, 3 working days.

After getting the name availability report.

Documents and Information required for the further process:

  • Name availability Certificate.
  • You have to be knowledge about the directors regarding their shares and designations.
  • There will be at least two directors/subscribers, a chief executive officer (CEO) and authorized signatory.
  • Article of Association (AOA)-download from the SECP’s Website and edit the name of the company put the detail of the directors along with shares. (In case of SMC (Single Member Company) no need for the share’s detail)
  • Memorandum of Association (MOA)-download from the SECP’s Website and edit the name of the company put the detail of the directors along with shares. (In case of SMC (Single Member Company) no need for the share’s detail)
  • CNICs of all the directors.
  • Address/ contact number/ e-mail I’d of the company.

NOTE: detail of the witnesses is not required for the online registration.

NOTE: Nominee will be required for the SMC (Single Member Company)

 

PROCESS:

  1. Sign in through your user id password and log in to the company’s name account which will be highlighted in front of the company name.
  2. Read the form carefully it help you to filling up.
  3. New page will be open in which the user will put the required company’s detail as well as detail of the directors and their shares in fields as he putted the data at the time of name availability.
  4. Now click the button of continue. (if there will be any error/mistake in the form the message will appear on screen)
  5. Remove the error/mistake and click button of continue.

The form will be submit the a new window will appear
